Our Interim Production in 2019 was a concert devised and produced by one of our members, Kate Yates, which included different medleys and songs from a selection of stage musicals. The concert enabled both youth and adult members to perform at The Gladstone Theatre over two nights and was well received by the audiences.
The show opened with a chorus number of the title theme ‘no business like showbusiness’ from ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ and progressed to music and medleys from ‘Phantom of the Opera’, Mary Poppins, My fair Lady, Oliver, Mama Mia, Hairspray, Chitty Chitty Bang bang, Evita, West Side Story, Matilda and finished with a Lion King Medley.
